Carousel rides are quite fun for all ages. They are one of the oldest rides around. Do you remember riding them when you were a child? Perhaps you have been to one of these rides lately because you have children. There are all different types of versions of these carousel rides. You will find them at fairs, amusement parks and even in other areas. Let’s look at some fun facts about these types of rides.
For example, it’s interesting to note that riding one of these rides at one point was said to help your circulation. Hey, if this ride will get your circulation going, then what do you think some of the other rides at fairs and amusement (ferias y atracción) parks will do? While there are quite a few of these carousels out there, you would be surprised at how many of them aren’t around anymore. In fact, the number is estimated to be around 150.
That is not that many carousel (muchos carruseles) rides at all. Wooden carousel rides were originally the big hit. It used to be that there were thousands of carousels in the US. Again, nowadays there are around 150, and that’s pretty sad. That certainly means those carousel rides that are left are special, though. Considering there are only that many left, if you’re thinking about buying one, that might be a really good fit. What type of operation do you have?
